Guest Jack Benson
Twice in the past month, eBay’s initial email that informs the seller of a sale has carried the wrong address of the buyer. The address supplied is genuine but it is a ‘former’ residence of the buyer. Thankfully, I always check with the buyer by sending a photo of the package just before I take it to the local rural PO and the first mistake was caught in time but not on the second occasion. Why this occurred is a mystery, I cannot find any method to contact eBay as this odd glitch does not neatly fall into any of their ‘subject’ categories for contacting eBay. Be aware that this can and does happen. I now delay despatch until I have a response from the buyer that confirms the correct address.
