I am thinking of have "smoke" installed in my Locos although it seems quite a big investment.

TRS Trains seem to have a lot of reviews through some model press and blogs.

Has anyone any experience of their work?

If generating vapor from water, might Legionella bacteria be a potential problem?

"Legionella is transmitted in aerosols which have to be drawn deep into a person's respiratory system. Any humidifier that produces an aerosol such as an atomising humidifier or ultrasonic mister, particularly if they spray directly in the air where people are present, is therefore a potential source of concern."

 

You would need to use sterile distilled water? And maintain scrupulous cleanliness of the system?
