Listerboy
How rare are the station kits Pola made for Hornby, R199? It looks perfect for what I need!
cypherman
Hi Listerboy, I do not know really how rare they are. I have one in a box that used to be on my old loft layout. But as a Hornby product I doubt that they are very common. But as an investment it is not that good a buy. This one boxed with 2 other kits went for only £20.00. https://www.lskauctioncentre.co.uk/auction/lot/806-a-Hornby-r193-village-shop-kit-r194-petrol/?lot=348167&sd=
Listerboy
I don't want it as an investment, I want it as a station!
cypherman
Then go for it. They do not seem to be very expensive. I have had mine since it first came out in the very early 80s. When it was on my layout it was the main building for a 6 platform terminus.
