GrumpyPenguin
I've trawled the section but not found much information. I'm looking to add a simple loop of operational street running tram track to a part built HO layout. Apart from the now not available Hartel Range there does not seem to be anything ready made - anyone have any useful idea's/links please ?

RMweb Premium wagonbasher Posted April 30 RMweb Premium Share Posted April 30 Bachmann produce HO scale American model trams. The track can just be 00 scale model railway track set into a road surface. Andy
Nick Holliday
Tilling do tram track https://www.tillig.com/eng/strassenbahngleis4.html Don’t know what the availability is like, one UK dealer seemed to be out of all stock, and it does seem quite expensive. Rue d’etropal does something in 3d printing as well. https://www.rue-d-etropal.com/3D-printing/3d_printed_track.htm
GrumpyPenguin
Thanks Andy & Nick. Getting the trams themselves is easy (Roco/Lima HO). The problem with using HO track with infills is that it looks just like - HO railway track with infills. Hartel made some good tram track (although the joiners were not very good) but it'sd no longer available which is a shame because they did some really tight radius curves. The supply of Tillig is a bit hit & miss - I don't want to end up getting a few bits hear & there.
