Sunlu ABS like resin

Recommended Posts

What are peoples experiences with Sunlu abs like resin? Can anyone suggest settings they have used successfully with an Anycubic MonoX2?

Thanks

Duncan

I'm a big fan, it's my 'day-to-day' resin. Well priced, although the grey is often out of stock (I usually use black in these instances). I typically pay £16-18/litre. The 3 litre bottles are particularly good value.

I don't have a MonoX2, so no help there though I'm afraid.

As above, it’s my go to resin. Tough enough for most things yet brings out all the detail. I like it so much that I didn’t bother to buy 8k resin for my recently acquired Halot Mage 8k printer, the Sunlu resin does everything I need it to.

as far as settings go most seem to be available on the Internet if you search deep enough.

Another vote for Sun Lu. after try various others,  I use this alll the time.  Cannot help with setting though as I am Elegoo. IIRC though, with my first bottle I think I tried with the same setting as for Elegoo Abs-like, and was happy with that.

Neil

Can I ask how SunLu ABS-like compares to Elegoo’s?

At the moment I am getting good results from Elegoo ABS-like, but maybe I should give this a try?

Would you say SunLu is e.g. stronger? More flexible? More rigid? Better detail? Other?

Thanks

This is my current project using Sunlu ABS like resin   - a 16mm scale 'Tattoo' building on a Mars 2 Pro. It is getting almost no cleaning up , apart from support positions of  course.

Note the safety valve springs, printed in situ.

I find the grey much the same, but the one bottle of black I have is markedly more brittle.
