Timber
Hello - would anyone have any details of the profile of the trim that held the coach windows.....I have Mike Lloyds superb book but the photos are a little distant.
RMweb Premium corneliuslundie Posted June 28, 2024 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 28, 2024 There are no photographs of any use to you in the WRRC collections to which I have access, nor in those which have been passed to me for use in the two Cambrian Drawings volumes. The photo in Mike Lloyd's book is not in our collection. And there is nothing useful in the HMRS photo collection either. Mike Lloyd did make detailed examination of the carriages he drew as there is correspondence about different profiles of beading in different batches of the 45 ft bogie carriages. Timber
Cheers Chris - your models are really excellent. I have previously made an etch but now going back and refreshing all my coaches as 3D prints for the bodies maybe keeping the chassis as etches....given this was second time around I thought that I would try and uplift some of the detailing - hence the question....my etches are only for my own use hence they are a little crude...
Timber
I need to sleep on this for a few days but here is a starter for 10....coaches are relatively easy in 3D as once one compartment is drawn up it is a simple job to build up the body.....
