Wickham Green too
A couple of 1999 slides I've just scanned show 4CIG units with number 1 marked on the end window pillar and a whopping great yellow First Class band on the roof ( where a normal band might clash with Connex livery ) .... Looks like they denote that the other DTCL has been declassified but anyone know anything about these markings ? - how widespread were they ? RMweb Gold Geep7 Posted August 21, 2024 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 21, 2024 I believe that these were only applied to those 4-Cig units operated by Connex South-Central..... others can probably confirm if it was applied to all their units, or just a handful.... I think it was at least applied to all Connex liveried units.....
Wickham Green too
1752 was shown as Connex liveried in the next ( 2000 ) Platform 5 'Combo' - maybe the paint shop jumped the gun on that one !!?!
RMweb Gold Nick C Posted October 11, 2024 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 11, 2024 I seem to remember most if not all of the Connex ones having the roof stripe - very useful when you wanted to nab the declassified compartments at the other end!
