A modern classic and one which will never be produced again. One man’s heroic effort to produce a detailed mapping of the routes of all public railways in Great Britain opened between 1807 and 1994, overlaid on the One-Inch OS map.
 

Showing opening and closing dates, changes of line ownership with dates, dates of station openings/closings/relocations. Indexed.

 

Volume 1 maps start at the tip of Cornwall and run up to Yorkshire, volume 2 maps start in Yorkshire and run up to the top of Scotland.

 

See the photos for samples of the content. Two hardback volumes in slipcase with ribbon bookmarks. Books and slipcase are in very good condition - no edge damage or scratches. No loose pages. Slipcase is slightly dusty.

 

Very heavy - will be posted as a medium parcel.
