Can a Lionel prewar m10000 or 250e run on 042 or 054 radius track

Lionel introduced especially for the M10000 a wider radius track, which was later called O72. So I assume the M10000 and the later 250e Hiawatha cannot run on O48 or O54. But I do not have O54. Of course they would look silly on a smaller than O72 radius. My postwar Hiawatha looks great at an even larger (3 meter) radius:
