A suitable donor loco with a real life history, so I can create a model, 47666 ‘Satan’

Afternoon.

I hope that this is the correct area post this, sorry if it is not.
I’m in need of an excuse to create a history for a Class 47 I’ve always wanted to model.

The donor loco is a OO gauge Heljan Class 47 that I originally bought some years ago, a Royal 47, 47798 Prince William, a Crewe Cut loco.

Anyway, at the time I bought it I wanted a model of 47847 in large logo BR blue, so that is how it got resprayed. But then eventually Heljan brought 47847 out as ready to run and its it was better than my effort I side lined my one for some years.

Now I’ve finally got around to wanting to use it for a loco with fictional history but with a twist. Being life long metal head I’ve always wished that the planned inclusion for 47125 to become 47548…..and then finally to 47666 and named ‘Satan’. First job was to change it back from a Crewe Cut, which was fairly easy.

What I need to know is, was there any physical reason why the plan to change / re number 47125 to 47458 was not carried out? It might be as simple as BR just didn’t need another ETH 47/4. But I don’t quite understand that as later they created 671, 672, 676 & 676 and these are just the ones I could find from my searches.

A search on wiki’s page

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_British_Rail_Class_47_locomotives

shows 47125 as being scrapped by Harry Needle at Kingsbury in 2002.

The history of 47125 might have precluded its use?

Or could I go the lazy route and pick 47466, which seems to have had a reasonably boring life, unless someone knows any different and it would seem to be the easiest renumbering. Scrapped by M J Philips at Crewe Works in 1997. Unless someone knows any reason why this loco couldn’t be used? Maybe neither of my suggested donors would be any use….i am totally lost.

Please can anyone with an expertise in Class 47 history help me?

Here are a couple of photos of my donor Heljan loco.
