tractor_37260
I think I may have read this somewhwere here before but is it possible to adjust the brightness of the headcode lights on a Bachmann 25. Thanks in advance. E Yes - provided it's got a decoder fitted ? . How - depends on which make of decoder is fitted. ie if fitted with a STD Bachmann or other ESU 3.5 21 pin sound decoder try CV 113 + CV114 default is max brightness = 15 on each. Try setting to 7 to start with, I found setting to 0 gives just a nice glow on some locos, more realistic.( Depends on just how bright they are to start with ?) Play around with the settings between 15 max down to 0 to find what suits you best. BTW setting to 0 does not switch them off altogether. If it's a non sound Bachmann 21pin decoder - you can dim the lights on CV63 - default = 7 Max adjust between 7 and 0 to suit. Lenz decoders also offer lamp dimming - but I don't have the details to hand at the mo. HTH Ken
