The painted ends do make a difference, although I think theyll need redoing, how cruel close up photography is! The Heljan tanks to make a difference to this model after giving into temptation of using them, the next thing on my to do list is the lights and sorting out the frayed marker lights. New project in the form of 73118 in EPS livery which was a nice cheap bargin off Ebay! The current plan with the 73 is to model the Scharfenburg couplings, rework the underframe completely, and detail the bogies, possibly remotor it as well... looking at fotopic pictures of the real 73118 ive got more than enough work to do on it!
