Stephen Lacey (92245)
I know its not a car spray and is more expensive than car sprays in general, but the Just Like The Real thing sprays are very good - a lot better than other 'rail' spray paints which dont seem to keep so well or give as a good a finish. ??15 a tin is expensive, but you do get a good finish - and thats what counts! RMweb Premium boxbrownie Posted December 13, 2009 RMweb Premium Share Posted December 13, 2009 Hi RAL 5020 (Max Meyer) Ocean Blue is the closest non rail colour to BR blue. Cheers. What vehicle model line would that Ocean Blue be for? Easiset way to track it down in most places is using make/model.
Phill Dyson (onslaught832)
I wouldn't bother with car paint for Rail Blue personally , I use Railmatch Rail Blue (about ??6 for an aerosol ). Cheers Phill :icon_thumbsup2:

Just quote the RAL number at any paint supplier, as its not available anymore its an old 1970's colour. (I think either peugeot, Datsun or Ford, but not too sure) All shades of paint have a RAL number, and any paint supplier can find it using the RAL number. I have a tin of it for touching in flamecut panels, and its labelled RAL 5020 Ocean Blue!

Cheers Phill The original poster of this topic didn't say why he wanted it, he might want to spray his car Rail Blue!!! And you can't do that with Railmatch aerosols!
