mega_mort
Hi I've got a GEM 009 Douglas kit that I'm sort of making when time allows, already made the Dolgoch kit and painted TR Green but was thinking of doing Duncan not Douglas (still a big kid) but unsure of the best match for the red used in the books, not had chance to get at the TR paint stores to see whats used there. Just thinking if anyone here had an idea of what the best match might be, or if a company out there actually makes a Skarloey red, thanks in advance. Karhedron
Difficult one as the shade of red changes thoughout the stories depending on the artists. In the first book about the small engines they were fairly dark, almost verging on maroon. Later on they became a much more bold red. I am not aware of any specific colour matches for them. However my personal choice would be Ford Rosso Red. This ia match for BR Crimson and should look good on Duncan.
