Western Star
Acting as a "post restante" a set of AGH wheels for 7mm Finescale have been passed to me for onward delivery, these are wheels which have been commissioned by a RM Web member from Mr. Penn-Sayer in October this year. As there has been some interest in the use of Alan Harris wheels I have photographed the items and those photographs are included in this posting. The last photograph show the individual stub axles and the taper pin which secures the two parts. The length of the female stub axle is equivalent to the back-to-back measurement. The taper pin is placed to allow for the width of a gearbox, in this case I understand that the gearbox is to be from ABC Gears. Those of keen eye-sight will note that these wheels are insulated on one side. Mr. Penn-Sayer can provide wheels insulated on both sides of an axle as per the wheels which he turned for the A4 "Merlin" (another RM Web thread).
