DapolDave
Hi guys, Enough for today with this one. The N gauge class 58 second shot is online as well now. It's due around Feb / March 2010 following on from the class 86 that's in the paint shop right now. www.Dapol.co.uk cheers Dave
craigwelsh
Dave could you get your webguy to change the width and height to the following so it sorts out the aspect ratio?

I realise people can right click for the full image. Clay Country
They look like pictures of the Heljan model to me. The pic of 58042 shows 58048, which was one of the Heljan locos.
russellwar
I did wonder. Was searching for the 153's, so did not have much time

Clay Country
There are some new pics of the Trainload Coal and EWS versions here Aside from the rather overcooked hinges on the bodyside doors, it's shaping up to be a very nice model B)
RMweb Premium Steadfast Posted March 4, 2010 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 4, 2010 Looks very nice indeed, will be getting a maroon and gold one. The mulitiple jumpers look a bit chunky, but at least they're separate, so nice and easy to replace with wire! Can't wait to run the airbrush over one to really bring out the detail cheers jo

Clay Country
It seems to come and go for some reason. I had the same trouble yesterday.
RMweb Gold Adam1701D Posted March 5, 2010 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 5, 2010 The pictures are working today. The 58 looks good, except for those hinges on the bodyside which are way too overscale. Regretably, these really do draw the eye and I hope that they can be toned down a lot before production. The 86 looks really promising though
rope runner
The body-side hinges are a bit chunky as are the jumper cables. I'd say the hinges arn't enough to put anyone off the model, and the jumper cables are easily replaced by those who wish to rivet count. atleast they're not terriblely thin like the air horns on the second batch of 73's, it's a miracle mine are still attached/complete! I just hope they won't keep us waiting too long, and there will be a similar situation to the 67: a good model, acceptable paint-job with an impressive mechanism though hopefully this time my pre-order will arrive!
