Edinburgh Junction
Very simular to my calendar topic (I've noted it in the RMweb calendar) My topic on the calendar I shall be attending for the first time, and cannot wait to see the layouts. The main layout of the event for me is Widnes Vine Yard...
Ursa Major
I shall be attending for the first time, and cannot wait to see the layouts. The main layout of the event for me is Widnes Vine Yard... The N scale model of Bewdley station is, by all accounts, well worth seeing. For narrow gauge fans the new On30 modules should be an interesting display and there's a Gn15 layout (Sunshine Orange) as well.

RMweb Gold beast66606 Posted December 28, 2009 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 28, 2009 I'm there with Widnes - anyone is welcome to come and have a go (circumstances permitting - ie no faults, or if its busy we can't suspend operations training people but we generally find we can accommodate people at some stage, and of course not too many volunteers) Jim, you have no option, you HAVE to come and have a go

Richard_S
Bit of advice for exhibitors - Wrap up warm! Eh, Bob? steve Thanks for the reminder about the lack of heating, Steve. Really looking forward to this one; first time that I will have exhibited in my home town. A number of members of my extended family will be along to help us run on the day. Ursa Major
The lack of heating in the exhibition hall is an unfortunate side effect of holding the event in the railway museum. The 2011 show will be at a smaller venue - but with heating.

Ursa Major
The snow is melting, at least on low ground, and there are ten days left before the show so it's time to give this thread a bump.
johnteal
I will be attending with 2 On30 Modules as part of the line up, which is a jump in scale for me as last year I took an OO module "Mossley Terrace" I know Bob is working his socks of this week, made all the more hectic by having just expanded their family with the addition of "Bob Jnr" who was born recently. As per the last couple of years the proceeds go to charities as the CRM club doesn't raise funds for itself being internet based. I'll be around the On30 modules most of the day and looking forward to putting some faces to names. John RJR

RMweb Gold beast66606 Posted January 16, 2010 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 16, 2010 Packed Widnes away ready for next week, the 6 new 66's are all weathered ! (Shenker, 3 X GBRF variations (two Barbies, one named, one not and a Metro), Fastline and the Bardon) - not sure how many will get a run though !. The Grand Central HST will be running, but is not weathered yet as Pete Harvey has some things he wants us to try,- the Dapol MCA/MDA rake is nearing completion, more of that at some stage, if you want to see what has been done to them, come to Crewe B)

Ursa Major
For narrow gauge fans the new On30 modules should be an interesting display and there's a Gn15 layout (Sunshine Orange) as well. I've just spotted that Sunshine Orange has been withdrawn. This is a pity because I've been watching it develop on the Gn15 forum it's a pretty neat looking little layout. http://forum.gn15.in...t=4443&start=
