"Cement" colour Paint

Recommended Posts

One of the closest I have found is Humbrol No.28. I just can't undersatnd why Humbrol discontinued their concrete colour. I did contact them about this and suggested it would be a prime candidate for bringing out in an aerosol. I did pick up recently a tin of Precision P958 weathered concrete,. It does seem rather thin though with regard to covering capability. I really do think the hobby is crying out for a good concrete aerosol, it would be SO useful. For what you want it for, I reckon the Precision may be your best bet.

'Concrete' colour is such a variable as depends on the type of aggregate in the mix, how long it has been in place, what affect the weather has had on it etc.

Bear in mind that concrete is a mixture of aggregate and cement so will be a different colour to powder cement.

I would use light grey / white to weather cement wagons.
