RMweb Gold Popular Post Ruston Posted December 4, 2024 RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted December 4, 2024 I went down to Watery Lane Sidings one lunchtime and found this 88DS idling away and wearing this ridiculous shade of green that looked like someone had slapped it on with a yard brush. I was told by one of the blokes from Charlie Strong's scrapyard that it had come in from a wagon works, somewhere. It probably became razor blades and Morris Marinas. 37

Outstanding. = Having a believable backscene adds so much depth and realism. Just as it says on the tin = How realistic are your model photos. It doesn't look like a train set on a flat board. 1

RMweb Premium Popular Post DLT Posted January 5 RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted January 5 (edited) For some reason there are two passenger trains at Charmouth. The train of bogie coaches are parked in the cattle dock siding, blocking the run-round, while the 6-wheeled stock is in the platform. The drivers popped up to see the signalman whilst the secondman finishes his fag before hooking on. That would be my excuse, anyway. Popular Post Tom F
A rather cold Guard, Bob Evason informs the driver of 3728, that he has permission to run the locomotive around the train ready for departure, on a bitter January afternoon. As the low sun glistens across the engine's water tank, Bob mutters "the sooner we are back to Leominster, the better".
