Andreas68
Hi, as it is not easy to get Green BR Maunsell coaches is there a way to renumber SR green ones to BR? Are there transfers available to do this? Maybe anybody did this before. Best wishes Andreas
10800
Hi Andreas You could start with Modelmaster ref 4415 http://www.modelmasterdecals.com/BR194865_Coaching.php ; Fox http://www.fox-transfers.co.uk/products.cgi?categoryid=643&ordernumber=943872415301; or Roxey http://www.roxeymouldings.co.uk/product/503/4rdt11-br-southern-region-coach-transfers/ Don't forget to repaint the coaches first from olive green to BR green though! You may still find it easier to look for the BR versions on Ebay.

I have never seen the SR models live and on the pictures the 30's pristine looks olive - yes. But the green SR's look the same like BR. Exampel R4339 with that colour i expected not to go for airbrush them. But as i write before - never seen the colour live... http://www.Hornby.com/shop/productimage/?ImageID=1470
10800
Kein Problem, Andreas. Ah, now I understand - yes, as far as I know the late SR green and the BR green are rendered the same. In this photo the SR is on the left and the BR on the right.

The main reason is the availbilty of brake coaches, the SR's seem to be still available. Nice evening! Andreas

I also bought the Fox transfer set for BR(S) set numbers and these are much too big. I dont know whether either of these have been corrected. The Roxey Mouldings ones are between the two and are just right !

They are also available in white or yellow. Glenn
