Shirtbutton C set coaches in South Wales?

Recommended Posts

Can you be more specific in what a South Wales C set was marshalled from as there appears to be local variations with these 'fixed' formations?

From 6959 previous post, in London it was either  non-corridor - van 3rd, third, composite, composite, third, van 3rd {London 1937}
OR  non-corridor - van 3rd, third, first, lav compo, van 3rd {London 1937}

I'm just thinking of how pausible it would be for a 42xx to be on a empty stock working in South Wales.
