Adam Posted January 12, 2010 Share Posted January 12, 2010 It could be (though in this case I doubt it), but I suspect that it's actually the exhaust steam from the air brake compressor which I think in the case of 35028 is mounted under the tender somewhere. Adam From what I understand this particular Bulleid has the air pump mounted vertically on the rear of the tender in a recessed box which is plated over.
