I'm a member of the GWS & GWSG and in their Pannier issues 17 & 18 there is a lot of information plus photos of all the GWR tenders, so your link compliments it very well. Thanks. I see you have chosen your username as the first of the modified halls. My surname is the same as 4911. I've been looking for an O gauge hall for some time so I can have rename to my name. I had forgotten that I bought Pannier 17 and 18 earlier this year so I have rescued them to read this evening when we are baby sitting the grand children so thanks for the reminder. I chose 6959 as a handle because the Modified Halls were built about the same time as me. It was my intention that 1944 would be the cutoff for my model railway purchases but I like the late- 1930s loco's with roundel because they were fully lined whereas post-war GWR machines were plain black below the running plate.
