Ian Holmes
This is part of the premises of North American Salt in Duluth MN. Being extremely flat in appearance it might make an interesting structure to fill a spot on the backscenene. North American Salt produces all kinds of Salt products for use in North America. All kinds of uses. From Road de-icing to animal nutrition. From water softeners to driveway clearing products. If you pop the premises address 1100 W Railroad St, Duluth, MN 55802 into Google earth you will see the size of the premises. It's small no doubt. As this google earth grab shows. What actually goes on in there I don't know. Storage or processing. Tank cars and box cars are the principle stock in and out of there. There used to be 2 sidings onto the premises. As far as I can tell one was taken out of use a few years ago. Food for thought for you anyways.
