marsa69
As the thread title suggests I'm looking for information on who produces a model of a Peckett 0-4-0ST in any scale for a project that I have in mind either in RTR or kit form? Cheers,
RMweb Premium Martino Posted April 5, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted April 5, 2014 Garden Railway Specialists do a large scale (16mm/ft or thereabouts) 0-4-0 Peckett. It's a kit. I have one, I'll post some photos tomorrow.
RMweb Premium Kris Posted April 5, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted April 5, 2014 Peco did one in n gauge. It needed a continental chassis. Both occasionally turn up on ebay, neither are cheap.
peter220950
In 7mm ABS used to do a W6, not sure if it's still available, Agenoria do a W4 and a type E and Springside do one, but not sure which type. try http://www.springsidemodels.com and http://www.agenoria0gauge.com I've built the Agenoria one, and it's a good, straightforward build, and I think the Springside should be also, being largely whitemetal. RMweb Premium Martino Posted April 6, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted April 6, 2014 Apologies, I haven't managed to get back to post any photos, but if you have a look at my line's Facebook, you'll see photos of it there. https://www.facebook.com/TheSouthBuckinghamshireLightRailway
RMweb Premium Dava Posted April 8, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted April 8, 2014 It would be good to have a kit of the Peckett M4 class, which were built in both standard and narrow gauge version (eg Lee Moor Tramway). They had a 2'6" wheel diameter which is small for 7mm scale. More attractive than the 'Yorktown' type (as 'Teddy' at the NRM). http://www.sungreen.co.uk/Coleford-Glos/Peckett-Whitecliff-Coleford.html Dava
