Narrow Gauge Jordan
Hi all, I am in the process of planning an 0n16.5 gauge layout based on a modern terminus, I have the loco, but now I need coaches, does anyone know of a 7mm scale kit for any of the modern ffestiniog railway coaches or the scale drawings for them (that'll be interesting) for a scratch build project, also if I scratch build them, could I use the Bachmann spare mk 1 bogies as they would not really be seen under the coaches, Thanks Jordan
hayfield
Jordan The 7mm Narrow Gauge association have done 2 books of plans, these can be brought off Amazon or similar There is a guy who sells scratch builder aids coaches www.worsleyworks.co.uk . and 4 wheeled complete kits As you can see its Worsley works, the basic ones are sides and ends. The bogie coaches are quite long 10" or so

Narrow Gauge Jordan
Have a look at ngtrains.com or seach for Port Wynnstay models they have lots that may interest you. I have checked them out and I really like the look of PW45, the panelled bogie coach, does anyone have any dimensions for it, and does it come with wheels/bogies and also it says about interiors, does the kit come with more information on these, how many do I need for each coach? Thanks Jordan
hayfield
I think I have PW86 but bought it as sides and ends only, its a 5 compartment with extra doors (guards ?) at both ends. The side etches are 9" long 1.5" tall and 1 5/8" wide Once I have fitted the solebar with the extended ends its nearly 10" long, About 21/2" tall with bogies. Nice etches
