My F-in-L has assembled some Mansell wheels, (using brass etch inserts from, I believe, Pearce Eng) they look pretty good. Anyway, he was wondering what colour they would be. He reckons the metalwork would be painted, probably black. But thinks the wooden parts would be creosoted, so wasn't sure what colour they would end up. Any ideas/info would be appreciated.
