7mm Handrail Knobs as 4mm LSWR Queenposts

Hi Guys

Does anyone know the dimensions of any of the 7mm Slaters (or other makes) loco handrail knobs?

I was thinking of using them as queenposts for the 4mm Phoenix Ironclad BTK's I have.  I've got the Branchlines detailing kits but the etched one's in these don't look quite right and the Roxey whitemetal versions I have look a little fat (sorry Dave).

Looking at the Weddell drawings they would need to be about 4.5mm long protruding from the solebars.  Any help / thoughts and other ideas greatly appreciated.

Hello Tim,

all I can think of is to have a look on the following web sites, Premier Components (have a look at the collarless ones), Markits (page 49, part No. M7HRK7Lns, 5.24mm long). Or the gauge 1 handrail knobs on page 53.

Cheers OzzyO.

I had an Eileens order on the go so added a pack of slaters long ones to that, thought it might be worth a go at £3:50.

I'll have a look at those sites you've suggested and see what's available if the Slaters don't do the trick.

Thanks again

Tim
