trisonic
Looks like an “F” train derailed underground at Woodside, Queens this afternoon. It is estimated that the train was carrying 1,000 passengers and about 19 were injured (according to info so far). It came off the tracks about 1,200 feet south of the 65th Street station. Interestingly the first and last cars did not derail but the middle 6 did. Add any factual links if you find them but nothing fictional , please. Best, Pete. trisonic
And an update from ABC New York: http://abclocal.go.com/wabc/story?section=resources/traffic&id=9524709 The reporting, fairly good in that it appears non-sensational. Best, Pete.
