gordon s
A few years ago, I bought these two Bachmann 37's off eBay. They had been heavily modified with what I believe are ESU Loksound decoders and had one or even two speakers fitted in each loco. From memory they came from a 'well known' modeller and I seem to recall his layout (or the one he worked on) had container traffic and may even have had Heljan cranes. Sadly I can't recall his name or the layout and extensive searches on the web have not brought anything to light yet. I thought it might have been Dyserth Road, but pics I have seen from the web would suggest not. I certainly don't want to take the bodies off each loco as I have no idea what is inside and don't want to disturb anything. I'm putting both loco's up for sale, but would really like to specify what each loco contains in the description and don't really want to say to any prospective purchaser that I have no idea what's inside. I would be very grateful if anyone recognises these slightly unusual loco's if they could put me back in touch with the previous owner.
pitbull1845
Hi Gordon, Quite possiblythe layout would be Holland Park, which incidently is Nick Gurney's handle on RMweb. (or was last time I Saw a post from him) Hope this helps. Cheers Scott

gordon s
Thanks Scott. I thought the guy's name was John, but have to agree Holland Park looks a possibility. I saw a link to Holland Park on the Dyserth Road site, but the link was dead, but having just Googled Holland Park, I've found the site and there is an email facility. I'll send him a mail tomorrow. This depth of knowledge on here never ceases to amaze me….:-)

gordon s
Many thanks Nick. I'm pleased I got some of the facts right! Lovely to see one of the loco's in situ on a layout. It looks terrific... Do you have any contact details for John? I would like to get some more info on the loco's, so perhaps you could pass on my details to John so we can touch base. Please PM me if you can assist.
