deltic17
...as per Tower......I see the above new items have been announced by Heljan for 2015 - excellent choices in my opinion.....
brian daniels
These were announced on a flyer at Telford. Obviously not many people picked them up off the Heljan stand They will have coil spring suspention like the B Tank and OAA/VAA so should get over all types of track laying. deltic17
Thanks Brian - I didn't make it to Telford this year - so hadn't realised - as you say maybe others hadn't too as I have not seen it discussed/publicised anywhere else.
two tone green
Makes two of us. I missed Telford and was not aware of the new wagons. Wonder what Pete over at JLTRT must be thinking !
Pugsley
It makes three of us, and I was there!
gardenwall
It makes three of us, and I was there! As I recall Heljan did not make it to Telford this year, they were on the original list but their stand was missing - at least I could not find it, and I looked. Pugsley
As I recall Heljan did not make it to Telford this year, they were on the original list but their stand was missing - at least I could not find it, and I looked. They were definitely there, it was in the top corner of the far hall, if I remember correctly. I went over to have a look at the air braked van samples they had on the stand. tomstaf
Definitely there, pretty much next to JLTRT in the corner. Cheers Tom
steve fay
Yes they were there right close to JLTRT, I suppose as JLTRT had something to look at they and the better coverage. The RTR for JLTRT are only short runs of wagons, they have been very good on the uptake as well and they are doing more variants. By the time the Heljan models come out I think JLTRT will be well on to the next RTR so the Heljans will come in nicely to make up a nice train. iploffy
I think the confusion of whether they were there or not springs from the hall diagrams missing out their stand number. It looks like they were moved at the last minute. I went last year and the place that they had was half way along the back wall, according to the layout plan they should have been in the same place, but actually was I the corner. I know that they were there as I bought a class 33 for £250 from them. Bargain
