Just for information!!

 

I run Ubuntu and I've had problems with pocket mags and reading the magazines.

Well not reading the magazines but using some of the functions.

 

I bought the magazine with the operation build it models in, I know it's Hornby, but still valid inofrmation for BRM.

There is a link on the page that you need to click which opens up the Scalescenes pdf document for you to print out.

 

Using the old reader this would not work, everything else was fine, no problems reading the issue.

I've since found that PIPELIGHT running under the WINE program allows the silverlight reader to work correctly  and the download link button also works.

 

I installed Pipelight which automatically installed the WINE dependencies as well.

 

Thought I'd post the info for any others having issues.
