Stevelewis
Just seen a clip on BBC news 24 ( 10-50 21/11/14) stating Hornby have CUT their losses to £500K But what got me was the demo layout they showed with trains running at high speed including a SMOKY JOE 0-4-0 pushing what appeared to be a WC class Tender! Dear me no wonder the Hobby gets such a bad press!!

Steve-e
Despite their supply issues this Christmas Hornby do look to be going in the right direction certainly from a Website prospective. Their website is probably the only manufacturer that I visit on a regular basis (once per week or more) and generally is kept up to date (often within days of prompts from here.) It's just a shame they cant supply the demand quickly enough or their results would be a lot better.
AMJ
Rightly or wrongly a few months ago I cut my losses and sold my holding of shares. With newer companies innovations I can't see good times ahead. It would be interesting to know financially which parts of the business make a loss and then these should be cut or sold on. The OOC (part of Corgi) has taken a hit when Oxford and other make quality items for a lower value.
