Kingswood model railway exhibition.

Good morning!

 

I am currently in the planning stage of having a model railway exhibition at john cabot academy in kingswood, Bristol. I'm looking for some help with what date It should be on (preferably a Sunday) and if anyone could help by bringing they're layouts to it.

 

I was planning in having it open 10:30am to 5pm to members of the public but 8am to 6:30pm for exhibitiors so they can set up and pack up on the day.

 

Any ideas or help would be great

What is the purpose of this show.

 

to gain Club funds, Charity donation or personal profit?

But Bristol Brunel model railway club (im a member) are looking for a new location and need the funds so could be another option

Depending on dates, might be able to offer you Tormouth Quay if you're interested.  Has been to quite a few exhibitions in the southwest, but the only trip to the Bristol area was last year at Shirehampton (October, I think) so would be new for the area.

That would be great! Got a huge hall to fill so need about 10/15 ayouts possibly? And 4/5 trade stands?

Plus will hopefully have tea and coffee on sale!

 

Also other news, the show hopes to be on the 1st march 2015 all being well, if not it'll be April/June
