Deleting or moving functions

Hi

I have taken delivery of a Hornby TTS Tornado and am very pleased with it, however, the sound decoder has 17 functions.

I use a Lenz LH100 and LZV 100 combination. and the handbook tells me that I can only access 13 functions. So 4 short.

OK, I'm not too bothered about F16 eggs frying in a shovel but if I wanted to use the sounds that I cant get to at the moment, could I delete F16 or somehow 'hide' (and retreive at a later date) it reducing the available functions down to 16 and so on deleting the non required ones until I get down 13 that I want ?

If it can be done and is simple I may hav a go, if I need a degree in maths etc then probably not ordo I need to upgrade my Lenz system?

Many thanks

You have the manual which came with the model? If what you want to do is not in there, then it can't be done.

It certainly does not work that way with 'fully featured' sound decoders so I would be very surprised if Hornby's budget baby could manage such a thing.

However, the latest software for your Lenz kit should gve you acces to all F keys from F0 to F28, so there is a route to that 'Fry-up'.

Kind regards,

Paul

Latest software? How do I go about getting that and on to my command station?

>> Contact A & H Models the UK Lenz distributor for an upgrade of both the LH100/LZV100 to V3.6 spec -  they will come back "breakfast ready "  As well as having access up to F28 functions, other goodies are also added..  It would appear your set is presently running V3 or V3.5 software.
