Wolf27
Is it possible to model a steam loco depot without making it region specific? What I am thinking of is a diorama style to display my growing GBL collection, showing each regions locos individually, I.e LMS, SR., GWR and LNER. Could I use ready available building kits from the likes of Metcalfe etc. A four road shed scene to accommodate about 15 loco is in my mind. Turntable not essential but maybe a coaling stage and water tower. Cheers Shane

Cheers Shane The shed could be doable, but the GWR and LMS had pretty distinctive coaling towers, you'd struggle to make a big shed generic if you used either. However there are plenty of joint sheds around - might be more doable.
