Ben04uk
Does anyone know if someone produces Western National Bus decals appropriate for the 1970's, as show in this picture? https://www.flickr.com/photos/29197902@N06/4229283282 Cheers in advance
RMweb Premium HillsideDepot Posted December 31, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted December 31, 2014 Modelmaster do a big range of NBC fleet names, including Western National, and the double N symbols (plain white and the later red & blue on a white square). http://www.modelmasterdecals.com/NBC_Fleetnames.php
Butler Henderson
Real big range that, Red & White and Maidstone & District, and no where does it say what scale!
RMweb Premium HillsideDepot Posted January 1, 2015 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 1, 2015 Sorry, I linked too far into the site, the previous page http://www.modelmasterdecals.com/Bus_Product_List.php shows them as 1:76 - which they are as I have quite a few of the various Bristol Omnibus Company names. Ben04uk
Thanks all, do these packs include the 'double arrow' (or should that be 'double n'?) logo as well or is it just the lettering? I think the 'double arrow' logo was on the other national bus company buses as well wasn't it?
RANGERS
Thanks all, do these packs include the 'double arrow' (or should that be 'double n'?) logo as well or is it just the lettering? I think the 'double arrow' logo was on the other national bus company buses as well wasn't it? The ones I have, various fleet names but all a couple of years old now, have the double ensign logo with them.
RMweb Premium HillsideDepot Posted January 2, 2015 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 2, 2015 The double N logos are sold separately as originally they were white (or red or green on DP vehicles) and later became red and blue on a white square, so it depends on which years you are modelling which ones you want (or in my case I'm using NBC lettering for depot names on privatisation era Badgerline vehicles and don't [in the main, there were early repaints with them] need the double N). The double N packs are at the bottom of the list.
