RMweb Gold roundhouse Posted January 16, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 16, 2015 Sounds like an excellent day which if I had known sooner I would have made other plans!!
RMweb Premium TimC Posted January 16, 2015 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted January 16, 2015 Sounds like an excellent day which if I had known sooner I would have made other plans!! Unfortunately, it was only this morning I agreed to help out. It should be a good day though. It'll be very informal and a good opportunity to have a run out with The End of the Line prior to our own show in Yate the following week.
brianthesnail96
Good beer, well, what I can remember of it. Visited the brewery on a tractor more than once, to pick up a suitable reward after a day working in the fields! Unfortunately I think 3 days out playing trains in 2 weekends might count as pushing my luck, so I think I'll probably have to give this a miss. RMweb Premium TimC Posted January 23, 2015 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted January 23, 2015 Just a reminder that the Wickwar Brewery Open Day is tomorrow. I'm looking forward to taking the End of the Line and also trying out The Last Train, a special brew for the event. Though more tempting is a crate of Station Porter from the shop
Tim V
What an excellent day out. Three displays of model railways, plus beer. Very well attended by the looks of it. Feeling replete after a couple plus meal in pub after!
RMweb Gold Gilbert Posted January 24, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 24, 2015 Indeed - it was a good outing - a visit to the Brewery Shop was deemed essential.....
RMweb Gold Gilbert Posted January 24, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 24, 2015 It's a fascinating building - if we were in the US it would end up as some sort of New England Craftsman kit by South River Model works...
RMweb Premium TimC Posted January 24, 2015 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted January 24, 2015 Indeed, it was a very successful day. Well attended and the guys at Wickwar Brewery are already considering doing something along similar lines next year too. I've put my report here http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/51862-the-end-of-the-line-0-14-and-0-goes-on/?p=1754789as it was more about our day with The End of the Line.
