Hi all,

Following on from a very difficult 2014, I am please to announce that Atso-Cad Models has made two models available to order as 3D prints from Shapeways. These are

- Ivatt GNR/LNER C12 body

- LNER Dia. 120 Full Brake (Pigeon Van)

The Shapeways shop can be found here: http://www.shapeways.com/designer/Atso

For those waiting for the H Class, there is still some development work to be completed before this can be released. Once, I'm fully back in action the H class will be a priority.

All the best.

Hi all,

I have been advised today by Shapeways that there was a problem with the Pigeon Van CAD file. This error has prevented Shapeways from being able to print this.

For anyone who has received a credit, this issue has now been resolved and the Pigeon Van can be printed as normal.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Steve

Good news. I would definitely like a couple of the vans.

I can't really justify a C13 although a loco that I like greatly for its looks. What chassis is it sat on?

Edit: Silly typo. C12 which is a rather better looking loco than C13.

Actually, it's a C12 but a C13 sounds interesting...

The chassis is a Dapol 14xx with the outer rear frames removed and a Farish bogie (as fitted to the Jubilees, etc) pinned to the front.

Hope this helps.

Do you have any pictures of a finished model of the pigeon van by any chance

Sorry not to hand. Once I've found mine again (still not turned up during my unpacking) I'll post some.

Failing that, I believe that MikeJ has posted pictures of his one somewhere on RMWeb. I'll try and find a link for you.
