despick666
In the early 1960s I used to help my father on his allotment, the location being opposite Ash Bridge SB on the Heaton Norris to Guide Bridge line.In the late afternoon/early evening a 2-6-4T of the Fowler/Stanier/Ivatt variety would pass coming from the Guide Bridge direction hauling 2 vehicles, probably a bogie parcels van and something with palethorpes titling. Further details or photos would be appreciated. Despick.
