PenrithBeacon
See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Rail_Class_07 for details of preserved examples. Branchlines do etched lamp brackets, don't know about the lamps themselves. Regards
RMweb Premium Mallard60022 Posted April 11, 2015 RMweb Premium Share Posted April 11, 2015 Do I recognize that kit or is my memory failing me? If it is.....nice job. P
SRman
RT Models has just recently advertised that they are doing electric lamp castings for Bulleid locomotives. While these are not identical, they might pass muster and could be worth at least a look.
Phil Parker
Craftsman models might sell you castings from their 07 kit. The lights are easily cut from Evergreen plastic strip though.
RMweb Premium Colin Posted April 11, 2015 RMweb Premium Share Posted April 11, 2015 Agree with above - I detailed my old Wrenn Bulleids using square section Microstrip cut to length; lamp brackets were made from bent wire and superglued on top. Lamp lenses were small blobs of gunmetal paint (not silver, far too bright!) It's looking good!

25901
Good god 25901, that looks very impressive ! Thank you for that. Have played with the real thing, namely 07001 when she was out on hire many moons ago. Mind you the cab was always full of the dust she was flooded with from Peak Forest
