RMweb Premium jamie92208 Posted April 13, 2015 RMweb Premium Share Posted April 13, 2015 The usual way is to do them in 7mm scale using 9mm track. The 7mm narrow gauge association publishes a book about how to do it and it is well worth looking on their website. Jamie

RMweb Gold Happy Hippo Posted April 14, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 14, 2015 A couple of my friends use 1:12 scale which is 1" to the foot and use Gauge '0' track (1.25") to accurately portray 15" gauge stuff.
28XX
To add to hippos reply, 1/12 or 1" = 1' accessories are available as this is a standard doll's house scale. RMweb Premium Clive Mortimore Posted May 3, 2015 RMweb Premium Share Posted May 3, 2015 I did start to do a RHDR based model using 00 track and a Tri-ang Flying Scotsman. The two coaches are scratch built running on Ratio freight wagon bogies. The scale was about 1/25th. which about 1 mm to 1 inch. OK the track was slightly over wide but using 4mm locos on 00 track gives about the same proportions as Greenly did with 15 inch gauge track and 1/3 scale locos of the RHDR. RMweb Gold Joseph_Pestell Posted May 3, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 3, 2015 A few years back there was an excellent exhibition layout on the circuit of the RHDR at Hythe, 1:24 scale using OO track.
