Ozz37
Hi All I'm very new to this site and also to communicating on line, so if I'm not doing it properly can someone please point me in the right direction. I'm getting back into OO model rail after a significant break. I have Bachmann 37408 Loch Rannoch in BR blue that needs some touching up on one of the front ends. The yellow looks darker that other BR 37's of the same era. Just wondering is anyone can point me in the right direction for the correct color so I can have a crack at repainting it with the airbrush. Appreciate your help. mjkerr
Presumably this is BR Large Logo Blue, as it never carried BR BlueA clean 37408?Did you buy this second hand?If so, the previous owner may have lightly weathered the ends, and that would certainly match photos of the loco during the summer monthsSo rather than repainting the ends you may want to weather the loco to make it more realistic
