Prometheus
I am currently detailing and repainting five Wrenn [ex-HD] Mica B-type vans [i say 'type' because of the compromises in the model]. I have lettered most with a combination of Pressfix and Modelmaster 'GW' transfers. The Modelmaster Mica sheet also has the GWR Shirtbutton [in red] in two sizes for Micas however. I have not been able to find any photographic evidence anywhere that these were applied in 'real life' however. Is anyone able to assist please ? Thank you. Il Grifone
AFAIK MICAs never carried the 'shirtbutton', going straight from large to small lettering like other goods stock. The shirtbutton was applied to coaches and 'brown' vehicles.
