Over 20 top quality layouts have been invited from across the country covering a range of timescales from 19th century Germany to the UK in the present day. Many scales and locations will be represented from the tiny Z gauge to G scale garden railways with radio control.  There will be something for the whole family including the opportunity to drive model trains and purchase those essential items for your own collection. See www.southwesthertsmrs.org.uk for list of layouts

A really nice and friendly show. Spent some time talking to Paul Stapleton who was demonstrating building a block of flats for his Chinese railway. It has made me rethink what I was going to do with my railway now. Will certainly be back next year.

Good evening all,

I went today and I really had a great time. I have been attending for a few years now and I thought this year was great again. Lovely layouts, lots of friendly people and a general feeling of a relaxed and fun day. At the time I was there, I didn't think it was too busy and it was great to get up close to the layouts. Below are a few pictures I took.

Thanks to all those who posted kind words on this exhibition.  As one of the group who organised it, I must give a big thanks ( in no particular order) to the exhibitors and traders, club members and committee, visiting stewards and demonstrators, wives, girlfriends and family who helped and last but all importantly , the public who I hope had a great day.
