Ozexpatriate
Could be worse, it could have been broad gauge too... That sounds like a challenge. Not that I know anyone in the costume department for Chuck Lorre Productions. For anyone who wants to dress like Sheldon you can go here. It's available in 17 colours. Welcome to the world of Zazzle and Etsy.

RMweb Gold Barry Ten Posted May 9, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 9, 2015 Remember when Sheldon wanted to move house, one of his criteria was that there had to be a model railroad store in the area? Can't relate to that at all.
RMweb Gold gwrrob Posted May 9, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 9, 2015 Apparently in one episode of TBBT he has an O gauge layout where he says O gauge or no gauge. The merits of train gauges are discussed.

RMweb Premium Gwiwer Posted May 10, 2015 RMweb Premium Share Posted May 10, 2015 There are references to trains and models in most series - probably all - though not in every show. Dr. Sheldon Cooper is a train fanatic, makes occasional reference to the fact, and does have an O-gauge layout though we know not where. In one show where his regular companions seem to have lost his friendship one asks "Were you rude about trains?" Dr. Cooper will not move from his current apartment because there is nowhere else with a model train shop nearby. Ironically while we see the comic book store in almost every episode we never see the model train shop.

If Big Bang Theory can't provide an answer why do we expect anyone else could?
rovex
I understand the train illustrated was the first corridor service on the GWR and thus was a trailblazer just like Sheldon. Further like Sheldon the GWR did things its own way and always assumed that other railway companies had got it wrong. But more importantly where can I get one?
