kylewilliams
I purchased Hornby's TTS a4 Gadwell. I have been very impressed with it, so i repainted it into bittern, added oil lit lamps and fire flicker and its been running fine. Today however, i was running it forward, and it shorted out and stopped. And now does NOT run forward without shorting. The loco still runs backward fine, all the sounds and lights work fine but no forward use. It is not my controller as all my other locos are fine. It is not the A4 itself as i put in a blanking plate and it ran both directions with no problems! i then took the sound chip and put it in a DCC ready 73, and the same thing happened, it all worked fine until i tried to go forward.... Can anyone help me as to what on earth has happened!?

Due to torque it touches in one direction and not the other. Hope this may help Richard
