45669
Afternoon All, Whilst in North Wales earlier this month I called in at the Bala Lake Railway. Being a Friday, no trains were scheduled to run, but I called in on the off chance and was delighted to find WINIFRED in steam as she was about to work a charter train. Despite the pouring rain I managed a few pictures and if anyone would like to see them, this is the first one in the Flickr Photostream : RD10914. WINIFRED at Llanuwchllyn. by Ron Fisher, on Flickr Alternatively, they can be found in this album : https://www.flickr.com/gp/train-pix/8Y61n3 Hope that they are of interest. AMJ
On my visit on 26th May Alice (who the ***** is Alice - sorry had to add this musical reference) was also in steam but by the time we had got back from the first train oif the day Winifred had been shunted outside. This was a decent day and they had thrown a fire into her box.
