sub39h
Hi guys, I'm planning on detailing a Lima Mk2B and turning it into a Mk2C. I'm not going to go too mental, but I want it to fit into my rake of Bachmann Mk2As. I'm going to be using Roe Vacs from Shapeways and a Southern Pride etched roof hatch. I contacted them today and was informed they do different etches - one for the Mk2D/E and one for the Mk2F. I hadn't appreciated there was any difference between them! Which one would be most appropriate for a Mk2C please? Whilst I may not be detailing it to the nth degree, if I am investing in an etch I may as well get the most appropriate one for the application. Thanks!
Bomag
AFAIR only the later Mk2Cs had all of single piece toilet windows, fewer ventilates and the A/C roof hatch. Given that the last Mk2C was finished two months before the first Mk2D then it is likely that the Mk2D/E is the nearest fit.
