D7093 GSYP mmmmmm

Could make 5M71 Cardiff-Soho tanks easier to resource - D7100 currently the only authentic loco - blue D7042 not really kosher !!!!

Perhaps a surprise is the omission (at least for now) of further 33/1 types. D6580 in green could arguably be piped but only ran thus for a very short time. Given the ease of obtaining 33/0 and 33/2 compared with the relative scarcity of 33/1 in plain rail blue there could be a gap in the market here.

33117 in BR Blue is shown on the list.

The description of the Derby Research Centre Clayton includes full yellow ends, I have a negative of the loco, I think it has allover blue, no yellow warning panels, I will have to dig the negative out

On page 21 of Ian Allens APT: a promise unfulfiled, there is a picture taken in October 1971 of a clayton with fye hauling a pop train. The caption states it is the last clayton working on the BR network.

I wonder if we can talk them into some NBL 6100s... ;)

Dave.

If they do it'll cost me a few bob.

Class 21s - a couple with droplight and a couple with sliding windows at least.

All GSYP of course. :)

Plus at least one 29 if they make those as well.

They've already done 33008 in 1990s green livery, but as that sold out very quickly they could do it again in 1980s green livery.

33008 carried several different variations on green livery in the 80s/90s. I've got phots of quite a few of them.

I see that the GSYP 26s are in at a couple of dealers in the form of D5332. What shed would D5332 have run from in this colour scheme?

Cheers,

David

60A Inverness,from Jun'64 to Nov'69,according to my ABC's....I don't know when it acquired Blue..

Just for info lads; this release still has the welded up gangway doors so it's only really suitable for 1966 and subsequent years.

Dave.
